Home Improvement Stage

Leading the Home Improvement Stage is Taniya Nayak, veteran host of HGTV and featured designer on Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible. Taniya hopes to inspire design in the minds and hearts of home improvement enthusiasts in her complimentary seminars at the Home Show.

Taniya’s seminars will cover all aspects of “Inspired Design,” including how to get started, do-it-yourself pointers, the magic of paint and bang-for-your-buck remodeling decisions. She believes in making comfort and style go hand in hand, and hopes to help South Florida homeowners with tips to create that comfort in their homes. Her seminars are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday (October 18-19th) at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

In addition to Taniya, the Home Improvement Stage will feature several South Florida professional designers whose expertise in a wide variety of topics will offer insight and helpful tips to show attendees.

Featured speakers include:

Eilyn Cueto (Sire Design), Viviana Malave (VGM Decorators) and Amelia Rozas (Amelia Rozas Designs)

Interior Design is a team effort. A variety of teams are involved including the designer and the homeowner, and the designer and contractors/vendors that come together to make the project all that it can be. The Home Design and Remodeling Show is proud to feature an amazing team of designers who are determined to educate South Florida homeowners on how to work with a designer to accomplish their dream home. They will offer complimentary seminars throughout the weekend to educate homeowners on when it is best to involve a designer and the role the designer plays in their home renovation project. The Design Workshop Seminars will take place Friday at 7:00 pm, Saturday at 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm and Sunday at 5:00 pm.

The three featured designers are:

Eilyn Cueto – Sire Design

Her company, VGM Decorators Inc., also offers creative workshops in its Dania Beach location for those who are more do-it-yourself – where Viviana instructs her pupils how to capture and interpret their individual style.

Amelia Rozas – Amelia Rozas Design Inc.
